'02 f22 project...
i don't know...i'm just tired of messing with it... tons of hours into it, tons of money....never even driven it!
on a positive note, i got it running, and there's no more stumbling. but i do have a p0135 code (o2 sensor)

If you did it right, once you drive it, you will love it
So, as i said i got it running and the miss at idle gone but had a P0135 front o2 sensor CEL..and it was smoking white like Crazy! but there was no way it was the damn headgasket...it hadn't been run long enough to be the headgasket!! so, i thought with the flooding prior and it not being driven since (even though it was years ago) perhaps the flood water damage/broke down the cat and it was what was smoking...so i pulled the exhaust off at the header, doesn't smoke white anymore.
It does smoke blue when you get on it or downshift, i'm running valvoline 5w-20 full synthetic (it's what i had in the garage at the moment), will that cause it to burn more than say a 10w-30 or 10w-40? to a noticable degree of blue smoke out the back on acceleration/downshifting?
and i'm not getting any heat from the heater....all other lines are warm and the temp. gauge never goes over 3 bars but the rubber line coming off the water pump to the aluminum line behind the motor isn't getting hot, not sure whats up with that....will do a couple warm up/cool downs and see if it's just a pocket of air in that line.

Hopefully this will be a good lesson for you (I learned mine on purchasing the car pictured below)

Nonetheless, great job on getting it up and running, albeit with some issues that should probably be worked out. You made a lot of progress from there being a gaping whole in the engine block upon the purchase

On a positive note you guys have been cool, and the car was pretty fun the... 1/2 mile i put on it lol, but in reality it's just never going to be feasible for me to keep it. the charger was a much more realistic purchase, it has balls and seats 5.... so i still got a toy just, a bit larger. once i completely sell out, i'll be in a minivan (or hopefully i still have some man parts left that my wife hasn't taken away from me, and at least get a suburban)
i won't say i dislike the car...i think it's a cool little car but i will say at this point i am just tired of messing with it....and i'm just hoping someone else wants to finish it. at least it's a runner/driver now aside from the smoking/cel.
edit: heres what replaced it the s2000 thought:
