AP1 seats into an 06+
How hard is it to put 00-05 seats into a 06+ S2k? I've seen threads where people trying to do the reverse, and it seems you can swap seat rails and it 06+ seats fit fine in AP1s.

Also, not just the rail on the passenger side, you will also need the upright bracket that attaches the rail to the seat back. It was changed in '06 to accommodate the belt being bolted to the seat. Good luck if you go forward with this.

Yes and no I guess, the drivers rail on the '06+ has a sensor that plugs into the harness that is mounted under the seat. I swapped the rail to avoid any possible future issues but not sure if necessary? Looked like a full forward seat position sensor.

The passenger rail has weight sensors for the SRS system and an interface module under the seat, the entire seat bracket is also different. More complicated, certainly.
But like Winning mentioned, you can swap the OEM driver's seat with rails and should not have an issue. I swapped the rail too as to not have an issue with the sensor that is present on the '06+ seats but not sure if needed.
