Take a Relaxing Drive Through Tokyo in This Honda S2000

By -

Relaxing, and oddly delightful, enjoy the roadside sights and sounds of Tokyo.

Do you ever just get in your car and drive, with no real destination in mind. Following the road is a thoughtless process, muscle memory allows you to work the clutch, change gears, accelerate and steer the car effortlessly. When you aren’t in any hurry to be anywhere, the process is simple, and easy for your brain to comprehend. It’s a relaxing and restorative thing to do, driving aimlessly. However, driving the same roads, in the same area for too long dulls the senses. So, let’s change the foreground and background, and head to Tokyo, Japan.

This all makes sense, doesn’t it? The Honda S2000 is a Japanese roadster, so, it has to work well as a car in Japan. However, this AP1 sticks out like a sore thumb from the myriad of kei cars, family sedans and box vans littering the Japanese roadworks. It is a bright red sports car amid hundreds of bland, white appliances that most people drive.

YouTuber N Riding must find the process enjoyable, as they end up driving all day, from daylight to way beyond the setting of the sun. So, feel free to skip around a little, it’s a long video, after all. Check out Tokyo during the day, and then experience it at night. Then, maybe hop in your S2000, and go for a long drive.
