Hondata Flashpro
Update: loaded the toda reflash with the secondary o2 sensor turned off and reset the cel. The cel was making me nuts! Honestly I was a little nervous firing her up, but she started right up like normal. OHHHEMMMGEEE! The car feels soooo much stronger from 4k-6k, even in this stupidly insane heat. I am super happy so far with it and I can't wait to get it tuned. I miss the vtec switch-over kick a bit but the power delivery is so much smoother now, I think its going to be much easier to drive on the track. Also, the exhaust seems quieter? Not sure about that one, but it seems quieter.
I datalogged one quick drive just to get a little data to look at. Dang, there are a lot of sensors doing a lot of things.
The hardest part of the whole installation was getting my POS laptop to quit going into thermal protection power off fail mode in the hot garage. I think I'm getting over the intimidation now that I've played with the flash pro manager a little. It's not retard friendly, but you don't need to be an engineer either. I'm just going to datalog some normal driving trips and then put it away for a few months until I get a custom tune.
