Sorry to link to another post, but I like when I read these posts. We all at one time or another want nothing more than to move onto a different car...

Some people want nothing more than to get BACK into a S2000

I read that too. They always come back, that's why I never left!

Yea I'm very surprised when people say they want something else, especially those that do crazy builds and then get rid of them quick.

There is just something about the way sitting in the S makes you feel that can't be replicated in any other car.

Maybe the solution is to have two cars.

THat's the ONLY solution if you are having some "practicality" issues.

It is a strange car. When I sold my last one I was miserable and wanted to punch koala bears until I finally owned another one. Then from time to time I still think about selling it for something (E92 M3 in a few years) but the car just can't be replaced "feel" wise.

Two cars is probably the smartest and best solution.

Chris, you are wiser then we give you credit for

I also don't understand these crazy builds then massive part outs...

Seriously, what's the deal with that? I think it's people who just do it to modify cars and then move on. They will never truly know what it feels to be an S owner.

The S is here to stay.....

I was able tactfully arrange to have wedding photos taken with my S to add sentimental value for my wife. Also, the fact that my wife took the HPDE1 class in the S also helped solidify its space in our garage.

A second car is the solution since the S offers very little practicality. Get a Civic or a Fit like everyone else.
