Does anyone have an ECU that I can buy? My car has thrown a P1607 code twice now and it looks like the ECU is faulty.

 

How are you going to get past the immobilized? I have one from a 02 you can use?

 

Will have to do more research on that.

Edit: Looks like it will have to be re-programmed unless you have a key and receiver that goes with it

Car is not driveable as it is in "limp mode" and will not rev past 3k RPM

 

If anyone has an ECU for sale, I can get it reprogrammed to work with my keys at the dealership.

Used ECUs are going for $50-$199 Buy It Now on Ebay. Able to pick it up tonight or tomorrow.

 

Have you checked all the electrical connections? I just don't see how the ECU goes bad without some sort of other issue.
