Your ideas concerning 4.77 gears

Thanks Bobby. I think 4.44 is great. I wouldn't say it hinders me that much in autox. It really depends on the course setup. I also raised the redline to about 8500-8600 this allows me to have the about the same max speed in each gear as a stock ap2. Although ap1 really doesn't have that option. Also my 4.44 on the high way is very livable because the increased rpm is only about 500. Hum I am not sure how they would do in an 8th mile but I bet they will be great for 1000ft but I bet it may be bad for 1/4 mile do to the fact my fourth gear ends at 101. But the ap1 with 4.44 will be fine so it should be all good. And I think if I remember correctly, an ap1 with 4.44 will still have a top speed till it's drag limited if u are still na.
I personally think 4.77 would be way over kill for track and highway driving. I think it would be way too many shifts and way too high rpms for cruising.

Thanks.
Well i ended up passing on the gears because we weren't able to get to the insurance tow yard early enough to get my suspension intake AND gears so i just got the first two.

well, is there anyway you could go back there?? if they r free then i would get them. they take about 2-3 hours to take out and put in or if ur a real pro 1 hour. if u dont like then take them back out and sell them simple. i should have mention that.
