One thing they had in China and Singapore that I thought was a good idea was a count down timer on traffic lights and crossings. If it was red it would be counting down the seconds until it would turn green, and if it was green it would display how many seconds you had left.

To be fair the only photos with blue skies were those from Singapore.

Never saw a star or the moon even in China and you could stare directly at the sun it was that obscured by the haze.
