I downloaded a great app last week. It's called Shazam and when you hear a song you like you fire it up and it listens to a few seconds of the song then tells you what is is including artist and cover art. It even provides links to purchase it from itunes.
Works pretty much flawlessly even with speaking over the top and ambient noise.

Aus - are you having 3G network issues? 1-2 bars? It seems to be an issue with Optus..

Hey Erik, I can't reply to your PM for some reason. Something about carbon copy address name not known (I had the same problem last time) but thanks for getting back to me. I can get it brand new directly from their site for a few extra bucks so I might get it direct instead if you don't want to let it go for much lower, plus I don't know which version you have.
Also there are 3 different types according to holdmyphone.com.au
One type for the carpet console, and two types for the leather consoles
SKU 633402 and 633470.

I was up the Central Coast yesterday and was surprised to get 5 bars.
I haven't really noticed a problem.
Battery life can go down quick if...
- you are in a borderline of where you get good 3G/2G reception, as the phone constantly keeps switching back and forth
- you play games alot on it, this seems to run it dry too
Aside from that, if you just do casual browsing.. email.. chat.. etc... it lasts the day on a full charge (with wifi on, and push email set to 30 mins).. for me.

Downloaded Crash Bandicoot Racing the other day. Not really into games but the graphics are excellent.
Today I looked into ring tones. Apple have restricted ring tones to songs you have downloaded from iTunes Store and paid extra to use as a ring tone.
Of course there is a hack:
