iPhone 3G
LOL.
Well I unlocked my phone from optus the other day and it required a full restore and sync. Of course when you do the restore you get the latest firmware 5A347 (not the 5A345) that comes on it.
Mixed online reviews on that new firmware... some said it was better.. some not. But since updating I haven't had any apps crash... the yellow tinge ppl said was on the iphone is gone. But I didn't notice it too much anyway.

Over 20 apps downloaded and counting (all free, except Texas Hold-Em). Shazam is amazing. A colleague was playing some obscure track in the next room at a VERY low volume and I thought I'd try it out and see. BAM! It recognised it.
Getting used to the keyboard now as well. I probably mistype 80% of the time but the phone recognises what I'm typing and BAM! autocorrects without a hitch.
Had to take a pic and email it to a client today. Rather than getting camera, taking pic and hooking up to computer, downloading, and attaching it to Outlook message, I simply took it on my iPhone, select email photo, and BAM! Done in 30 seconds.
BAM! BAM! BAM!

you guys do realise that Ericsson had the song recognition as a standard on one of their phones around a year ago???
Umm.. hope none of you were playing Aurora Feint used the "search my contacts feature"... apparently it was bad enough for Apple to remove the game from the app store. I thought it was pretty common sense, the game says, "click to search your contacts"...
