what's your usage been like on data? what about battery life?
Blackie you can check and reset your data usage stats monthly by going to settings>general>usage

it shows how much data you've used from your phone network only

that texas hold'em app is awesome, i am totally addicted to it...

btw, has anyone found a lap timing device of some kind for this phone? I've also heard that the GPS doesn't work off a satellite, rather it triangulates the signal from radio towers? is that true?

Is there an app for on the move sat nav style directions? or does google maps do that?

I'm quite happy with this new iPhone, the black backing is far more attractive than the old iPhone and the ringtone/speaker is MUCH MUCH LOUDER, it was far too quiet on the old phone, just quietly

OK after playing around with the phone for about a week now I'm fairly comfortable with my knowledge on everything it can and can't do.

I'm on around 3 1/2 pages of apps now.

How is the dynolicious app Aus? Is it any good and worth the money? I was waiting to see if they updated it with metric before I would consider buying it though.

The Dynolicious app is pretty good. Does 0-60 and 1/4 mile tests and has a live G meter.

I bought it even though it is not metric as I'm sure they'll add it in an update.

Nope. It's GPS.

Actually it's A-GPS which is assisted GPS. It uses the satellites when available and if not it uses the triangulation of cell towers. So it uses both methods to be more precise. In fact it's a lot quicker in locating your position than other smartphones which rely solely on GPS.

Ah thanks for the information, I haven't actually tried using it outside yet, but so far it hasn't actually placed me in the correct spot...

Some of us love our iPhones just a little too much.

I'm about to purchase a Iphone, but its most likely from ebay, for the 16GB one, The owner says its Vodafone Locked, And i have Vodafone Pre-paid card, I was wondering what services I miss with the Iphone or does it work at all?

Somethings to clear up before I make a hefty purchase

I doubt your pre-paid card allows much data.
