I got my first iPhone bill. My number had the bill amounting to over $800. On a $79 Optus yes plan. Anyway, around $400 was early upgrade fee, but it still doesn't account for the rest.

I did a combover on the costs and they had done a pro rata calculation of data usage from the time of sign up to the new billing cycling date, which was around 12 days, or 35% of a month. 209mb of data was used according to them. 35% of 700mb cap is still 245mb so I am still under. Called them up, gave them a calmly irate rant and they said they will file it under "investigation". Got a call back and they said I was right and was overcharged $320. Got an extra $50 credit for my troubles as well.

Check your bills people!!!

I'm a little worried about doing a Restore although it might be good to clear the cache, etc. Aus, when you clicked Restore, does it change everything back to factory state so all your settings are reset? What about your music, playlists, bookmarks, photos, apps, etc.? Can I restore the iphone and still retain all the original settings I had? What will be reset?

Anyone else notice a recurring theme in Muz's posts?

I would like to know the same thing as well, I have a feeling that you can't. The best that you can do is silence the ring tone or cancel the vibrations by pressing the volume button or the screen lock button

You just have to hit the lock button twice to reject a call.

Don't get defensive buddy. I know you guys like your new toys but it's only information I'm imparting. Perhaps I want to solicit opinions from those that own them before making my mind up about my next phone purchase.
