I'm going to get a Nokia N95 next and get the bluetooth GPS receiver, then i'm going to download racechrono!!! that program is awesome if your into tracking your car

http://www.racechrono.com/ is for racechrono, one of my friends used it at the last track day, if had a preset map for Winton divided into 3 sectors and gave splits and a predicted best possible lap time!
Just looked up GPS performance, looks quite similar though

Exactly the point I was making however one needn't wait 4 years. 12 months is usually enough to see a substantial drop in pricing. iPhone will probably be no different.
The current iPhone is a good example. It has been unavailable for some time now. Apple are very careful to produce just enough stock and run it down prior to releasing a new model.
Case in point: I ordered a new MacBook a few months ago but it was on back order. Two weeks later they released a newer faster version and that's what I received. If I had got the older version I would have been most disappointed.

Have you ever bought Apple products before Muz? They never shift in price until either a) a new version comes out at a lower price or b) they are discontinued and even then they don't discount to run them out!
Speaking of which the current iPod nano 8Gb will cost anywhere from $229 to $279 when you shop around so there does indeed seem to be some pricing variation.

Muz, you might be interested to know that because of the SDK a lot of the features and just about every know application under the sun has been developed by coders.
As for my iphone, I think you all might be interested to know I had it for 3 weeks and the touch screen has become unresponsive. I have tried everything but it has died completely on me.
Now this is the third apple product that has failed me, the previous ones being 40 gig, nano and now the iphone. Faulty products could be somewhat synonymous with the apple line.
Oh well, being the trendwhore I am, I've already decided to get the 2nd gen... regardless, because during the short period it was my phone, I was thoroughly impressed.
