OK I have one from the Honda dealer, I forget the brand right the alarm is right now. I have the microwave detector thing in it also.
Anyway I have found that if I leave my mobile phone in the car it will set off the alarm a few hours later - even if my phone did not ring or receive a msg during this time.
Check your battery terminals are tight and no build up around them.
Do you have any other aftermarket electrical devices in your car?

i have what i would describe as a honda dealer fitted alarm - it has the honda sticker but i,m sure they are fitted after they get to australia.
anyway the thing seems to be going off way too often - usually at 3AM under the neighbours bedroom window.
i wanted to see if most s2k,s are fitted with these alarms and if others have the same drama with there neighbours
has any one else had this problem and if so what did they do about it -
the alarm that is, not the neighbour

i got an 03 with a Factory fitted alarm . You can use your alarm key to silence the siren but still have the features working .
i have to do the key thing everytime i stop - hassle!
mines definately not the factory fitted then.
