I'm planning on buying an S2000 shortly and was wondering if any of you guys have strong opinions on where to buy. Purchase price is obviously important, but I also want to be confident that the servicing of such a refined piece of machinery is going to be done absolutely right.

Any comments on the best Sydney dealer?


Also I have been told by various dealers re the 2002 model:
"we don't know anything about a new model"
"yes there is a new model with glass window, don't know when it will come"
"we saw it on the 'net but don't know anything else"
"yes it is coming in november, don't know price"

Anyone know any more than this about 2002 in aus?

hey, come up to newcastle, my dealer is great, bought 2 s2k's fromthem and the salesman is very easy to deal with, they currently got a silver with red available, got my yellow for $75k drive away, not sure they'll do the same though, but u never know, pm me for more details

Sorry but no Honda dealer in Sydney that I know of lives up to my servicing standards. They either not allow you in the workshop to see what they are doing or get some punk to drive your car around and something like this or something like that doesn't impresses me. Price wise, Larke Hoskins either one of them will do you a good deal. You don't really need people to recommend you to them, they are the cheapest Honda dealer by far for any model or range across the board.

I'll second that. I could have had one from them in February for $69,000 drive away (for cash at least), but got a second hand one instead. There have been price rises since then though. I went to the one in Rosebery.
