Yeah, I watched the race. Its a shame they went the way of the WRC and its only a 2 cars race. I remember the old days when Opel, Alfa and BMW were in the series as well as MB and AUDI. I miss the old days.
On a side note, did you watch the BTCC race that was on afterwards? Great race as well.

I was pleasantly surprised to turn on the TV the other day to find the DTM on. I loved those cars in the mid '90s, totally awesome. I just picked up a '99 C43 AMG as another car, so now I feel like I have a bit of DTM in the garage too!
I went to the BTCC race at Brands Hatch in '02 as well. It was pretty wicked. I miss the '90s heydey of the supertouring BTCC though. Paddock Hill Bend is such a huuuuuge drop, TV doesn't do it justice. That same trip, my buddy and I went to Spa for the F1 race, and TV again doesn't do Eau Rouge justice either.
