Holy crap I didn't think the CEs were that light. That's a nice bonus.

Compared to my NT03+M's with almost identical specs, that's a nice weight savings. My wheels weigh 19.2 pounds apiece.

I am amazed the 17x9 Weds are only 15.7lbs for a flow form cast wheel. I weighed the 17x9 CEs at right around 15lbs think.

IIRC, 17x9 RPF-1s weight 15.6 pounds apiece. They're really spidery looking wheels (like the Weds) so that weight is entirely believable.

Upgraded my sound recording setup with a new Rycote Lyre mount for my Tascam DR-100 MKII and a Rycote wind jammer as well.

The plan is to try to get good sound from the Modifry wind screen mount in between the seats to get a much better stereo effect. I haven't been able to do this mounting the sound recorder to the Modifry mount directly because there is too much noise transferred into the recorder. This mount should take care of that and the wind jammer should help bring down the white noise a bit. Looking forward to testing this out tonight.

How are you enjoying the hardtop? Are you enjoying it enough that you can forego top down forever and gut the soft top?

Love it. I am in no rush to pull the soft top but there is no reason I can't pull the soft top and still enjoy the car top down if I want. I may pick up a hardtop stand at some point.

I caught a pretty nice sunset while out for a drive today so I stopped and took some photos.
