If the mirrors weren't on the door but mounted off that triangle area in front of the window they'd look better black.

To me it isn't the color of the mirror I'm bothered by its the fact that it's a black mirror stuck on a white door. Stick a black mirror on black trim or a white mirror on a white door but don't mix. This is just my OCD coming out.

On another note, what tire are you putting on the CEs? And let's not play this 6 month waiting game before putting them on.

How much are spoon mirrors, $800? I say stick with OEM. I'm way too cheap to even consider those.

I hear these and the new Rival-S are the cheater tire to get these days for TA.

The Rival-S is supposedly a 50 tw tire with a 200 tw rating. It's getting kind of ridiculous in the street tire category these days.

Yup. Reviews of people with lots of tire experience are saying these new bridgestones feel more like a 100tw tire.

I'd be lying if I said i didn't want some though. I'm still on the Z2s I bought two years ago and they still have 65-70% tread left. at this rate there will be a Z5 before I'm done with these.

I want the RE71R in a bad way, but I'll never drive on Rivals after we did a chump car race on them and it started to rain......

People talk so much bullshit when it comes to tires. I don't believe a word of any of it until I try them myself. There are 2-3 people who's opinion of tires I think I trust.

I will be getting a set of RE71-Rs. It makes the most sense to put them on the 9" wide Weds since the AD08Rs are wider. But the slight extra stretch of the RE71R on a 9.5" wheel might give me a little extra clearance up front so I might just do that and keeps the Weds as they are.
