I have a total of 6 MB Quart speakers re-installed in my car and a 10-inch sub in the trunk, plus a couple of amplifiers. The HU is the typical Alpine, and from what I have observed is commonly use by fellow S2000 owners. My system sounds super clean even with the top down at freeway speeds. I think even if I added an exhaust, I can still hear crystal clear sound from all the speakers.

Yes with speakers that start at under $100 or some that go for more than $500(just for the doors) it ca get very expensive pretty quick. Then you have to add the AMP and head unit, maybe a sub in the trunk and now we're talking real money. For my wife and I, all we want is to be able to hear the raido over the road noise with the top down. Once we hit 60+ mph the stock raido is a joke.

I'm using a Kenwood deck with the KTP-445U and recommend bridging it to get 2 x 90W. Power really helps since the S2000 is not a quiet car. Using Polk db6501 speakers - there are probably better sounding options but the plus is that they fit in the OEM speaker baskets.
Can the KTP-445A be bridged to 90w x 2? I'm getting mixed answers online. Also, where's the best place to put it?

The KTP-445A can not be bridged to two channels. I wish I knew this before I bought the 445A I would have bought the 445U.

I'm running the same deck and my iPhone 6s works well with both the bluetooth and rear usb port. Using Kicker 40CSS654 component speakers
