I've debated getting a set of Bionic Driving Gloves as they are highly rated. It's just too bad there aren't any B&M stores that carry them. Still, just might be sexy enough to pull the trigger anyway.

You don't see me wearing those gloves.

So did my usual mountain drive today, top down in my stock GPW & found that my hands get a little slippery with the OEM wheel. This would be another example of when I might want to try out wearing gloves...only thing is with the Alpine Star, they go past the wrists so I might look a little funny on the road hahahaha Theyre white too & with my work attire I could look like a butler!

I've gone through my share of racing gloves. While alpine stars is a looked, the best racing gloves I experienced is sparco.
That being said, these are racing gloves. Fire retardant material is number one criteria and grip number 2 with comfort number 3.
If you want a driving glove, for daily use, get driving gloves. Specialized stores sells this. These are not racing gloves, rather driving gloves. And they are wrist length. Most of them are from very soft supple leather. Ferrari used to offer one.

Understanding the focus of fire retardation in car racing gloves is important but really not as practical for my intention, which is street/daily use.
Thank you Andrie, and everyone. I'll keep up my research and post up with whatever the heck I end up buying (probably bike or baseball gloves, lol!)

How about baseball gloves?
Sorry Casey, I just was headed home not really a drive-drive. Besides, Im still getting used to the stock GPW with crap tires; I wouldnt be any fun/good to drive with in its current setup.

The problem with most sports gloves (bicycle, baseball, etc) is they have padding, which isn't something you really want in a driving glove. They aren't likely designed with gripping a steering wheel in mind, so they may actually be slippery. I can tell you I can steer with my Sparco gloves with the tips of my fingers, because they grip the steering wheel that well. Just something to keep in mind.
