...Mini Clubman
Disclaimer, I've driven a few first gen MINIs and generally really like them. I don't like the center speedo and with my seating position the already limited backseat becomes useless for real people. So when I say the Clubman is practical, it is compared to the MINI which is actually not impractical for many people. At the same time the Clubman is ugly.

It may be an ugly DD but I think the Clubman is reasonably practical. Certainly more so than a standard MINI.

But yeah, it is a bit on the ugly side. As is that new coupe fastback thing they're trying to make. Why does Mini have to be a whole line of cars? Sorry...back on topic now.

Silly Mustang lovers. All you care about is money (money to buy, money to repair) and speed. Most people that can afford a E9X M3 can afford the maintenance and they are all still under warranty. I suspect if you pulled up reliability ratings for the last few generations of the M3 vs the Mustang it wouldn't fare well for Ford.
Nevermind the fact that the M3 looks 10X better, and can be quiet/comfortable/luxurious while remaining sporty when you want it to be and has world class steering feel/brakes.
Mustang may be faster but it is a one trick pony (no pun intended). And at the end of the day, you still paid 50K+ for a freaking Mustang. You're represent the type that prefers a Coors light when a 50 year Macallan scotch is being served

And you didn't argue with me about the reliability, expense, etc of the BMW.
So... money is no object, reliability and expense doesn't matter to you, hmm, clearly you have the makings of a person with great taste.
You elistist hipsters buy into the hype because being educated through meticulous marketing and brand positioning is alot easier than say... independent research? You assume so many things about me to illustrate a point of preference over cars. Get over yourself.
For the record I have driven a 335i, E46 M3, and a small handful of other BMWs. I've also driven a 2006 mustang gt. Also, I haven't owned a single domestic car by choice.
Also, a bottle of coors is a depreciating asset. A 50 year old bottle of whatever expensive alcohol is an appreciating asset. A mass produced Ford or BMW are both depreciating assets. Great parallel you drew there sir.
Not saying BMWs are bad, they're great machines, but saying stuff like comparing BMW engineering to...well a ford is just misinformed.

You are retarded, ever driven an E92/90 M3?
Or are you just into calling people retards because you have nothing objective to say?
The boss is badd but the sticker package looks kinda tacky, and 5.0 has got to put down some numbers to live up to the hype but IMO, mustangs in general are just too available. They are probably the easiest and most affordable car to mod because Ford has been using the same basic design for YEARS! Not saying mustangs arent nice cars but in my part of the world they are the sworn enemy of anybody with any other make of a sports car. Come on, who hasnt been on the freeway and saw a GT and just had the urge to give him a ru n?
As for the BMW's I have only driven a few and they were awesome! The only gripe I've got is the price.. waayyyy to rich for my blood. But hey, it aint trickin' if u got it...lol.

So far, my M3 has been very cheap and easy to own. The only higher than normal costs have been for gas and insurance, otherwise it's trouble-free w/ free scheduled maintenance.
I'm not going to say it's for everyone, but BMW is obviously doing something right by getting so many suckers to overpay for them while being happy about it.

Well I couldn't give two shits about comparing this car to an M3.
I did however have a chance this past sunday to sit in the new boss laguna seca edition AT Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and give it some revs. It sounds freeking awesome. I love the look, I will take mine black with red. The seat is very comfortable, fyi it is not a four seater (I dont know if that was mentioned or not) part of the special edition is a rear seat delete. It currently revs to 7250, but the rep said they are working on upping that to 7500 - 7800. Did I mention how great it sounds?

They also hod a 302R but I didn't get to start that one...

. I grudgingly love M3s. But alas, I won't be able to afford an M3 during it's warrantied and maintained by OEM period, thus my dilemma. But you gotta acknowledge why BMW had to go down the route of including maitenance in their package, perhaps addressing a consumer concern?

Exactly, it's not just about the numbers. At the end of the day you're still comparing the craftsmanship and engineering of a BMW to well...a Ford.
