drove the SLK at a Mercedes event. exterior looks very nice, console looks nice, but the door panels and seats are kinda cheap looking.... like BMW with grainy-feeling leather seats if I remember correctly.
with that said, it's got awesome handling and power though. very responsive engine and handled well through the route they set up. sticker was about $45k. don't know if it included options.

nice car to get if you can spare $45k to play with.

 

I agree. The new SLK with the sports-package and AMG wheels looks hot! Wish i had the 50k or so. I think i will wait a few years and pick up a used 05-SLK. I think this will make a nice replacement for the S2K.
