There is nothing about it that is inspiring; nothing makes it stick out from most other ragtops. I like the coupe better; it is more distinctive(though it looks a lot like a celica or audi TT from certain angles). I'd also like to see the performance numbers on them. I looked at a coupe, and wouldn't trade my S for that, there is NO way I'd trade it for the conertible.

To me, it's like compare the look of Miata and MR2. The Miata and S2000 design are more toward conventional design, MR2 and 350Z on the other hand are more modern design( both in body style). There'll be some people that enjoy both and some can only except one.

For me, I'm leaning toward modern.

Take an overweight, underpowered POS covered in cheap plastics and Ikea door handles, and take away the little rigidity it has.......you get a conv. 350Z

Check out the Nissan Open tomorrow. They've got a blue one out by the tee for one of the par 3 holes. They're giving it away if anyone hits a hole in one. I really like the hide-away top, like the benz SL. I just couldn't tell if it was a hardtop or ragtop. Anyway, it looked a lot better than the coupe to me... but not as nice as the S.
