Just an IDEA
This thread is being loaded onto the shit barge...

Listen, RBS2K, everyone here is gonna give you advice (and hell) for your personal finances, etc. Just know that asking for advice on the internet is a toughie. Don't get defensive and know that there are 3 people out there...those who don't care (they didn't post here), those that want to help...and those who want to destroy.
Have fun!

As for the corolla S not being the safe car, why is that?
And for all the crap being doled out about what you should or should not try to afford, thats your business. But kids are not free. What you can afford for car payments before they kid arrives is totally different from what you can afford after the kid arrives.
There is a guy I work with who constantly walks down the hall muttering to himself. When you say "Hey Jim. How's it going?" he always replies, "NEVER have kids, they just suck your money."

Out of curiosity...what do you owe on the S2000? What do you think you'll get for it/sell it for?
And...how did a Corolla S get to be over $430 a month in payment?

$50/mo credit card bill? Is that the minimum payment you have to make?

Kids are like car lease payments. They keep getting more expensive. The difference is you don't have a car to drive. It is like a black hole.
