haha idk. I dont abuse cars like that. Hope engine doesn't need a rebuild anytime soon. The tranny is just a backup unit because A. Transmissions alone are getting scarce and B. Parts are bexoming discontinued from Mitsubishi. That trans will be worth a pretty penny if i never need to use it.

You think like me. I stash parts for my own future knowing they will become scarce (MR2 parts mostly). Wish I had bought a brand new F20C longblock while they were still available.

The builder emailed me saying he got some of the last parts in the entire world. They had to come from japan. Waited 8 months for this thing. My mechanic said there were 60 used manual transmissions in the country. When he went to order mine, 4 were left.
