I'm going off of the magazine articles of the day. Which I physically still own.
I agree the RX7 is a better handler, but all around as a numbers car it was not better.

How about 0.98g around the skidpad, 66.0 mph through the slalom and stopping distances from 60 mph on the order of 120 ft. Like the Supra Turbo's acceleration, its handling and braking prowess are close to the best we've ever seen, regardless of cost.
Of that era the RX7 is my favorite car so I'm not a MkIV fanboi. I'm just giving credit where credit's due.

RX7 was my favorite as well, my older brother had one and he let me borrow it quite often.

Except, you claimed the Supra outperformed all other sports cars... and it didn't in a variety of metrics.
