For the 8 guys here who are dooling, and the 3 out of those who'd actually buy this.... they wouldn't make enough money back to fund the crash tests required to sell it.

It's a great "project", but it'd never sell - not in its current form factor.

If the S2000 had this V6, I would not have bought my Solstice GXP.

Explain why please. Have you had any seat time in this car?

A low-revving (relatively to the F20/22C) V6 ruins the characteristic of what made the S frantic and fun.

Dude what? Can you read? The engine is FROM the TL. Nowhere does it say they have somehow magically stuffed an AWD solution under the skin of this S2000. Moreover since you have not driven this car you have no business speaking to its "balance".

Personally I wish they had built this car. The biggest defeciency the S2000 has always suffered is a lack of horsepower and torque.
You need to calm the **** down and tone down your excitement and love for this car for a sec.

Just what the fck do you mean the engine is from TL? **** like I didn't know that? My biggest complaints are its ridiculous low redline, when s2k's one of the biggest charms is it's high revving engine. I could seriously care less about the torque and power this car makes because it simply isn't the reason I bought s2k for.

Your statement that S2000 has always lacked hp and torque is seriously retarded. People who decided to go ahead and buy s2k knew this before purchasing. People still decided to purchase it because of such fun factor and nimbleness the car offered.

Even if Honda built this, I'm sure the next thing you'd be crying about is pricing

im not sure what the difference in motor weight would be but wasn't the CR already lighter from factory due to the soft top delete? also looks like they removed some other interior parts also.. that being said wouldn't it help balance things out a little bit?

Also like someone said it is kinda like the 370z.. big motor big power big torque and shitty readline.. why ive always loved my car and previous hondas ive had was because of the high redline.. and one reason why i got rid of my 350z convertible was because it felt like a pig.... so got the s2000 now boosted it and loving every minute of it..

Although you wouldn't know it from reading this forum, there's more to a car than its motor. A V6 S2000 that retained the car's other attributes (agile handling, quick steering, relatively light weight) would still be a ton of fun, and much faster on the track to boot.
