This thread and the other recent thread about daily drivers all talking about ST's, WRX's, GTI's..and no mention of a mazdaspeed3 for a daily? I thought about the ST and WRX for a second then remembered they were still making these. The speed is way better equipped vs the wrx and overall better than the ST IMO in terms of what I was looking for in a daily: fun, four door, FI. I'm now almost fully bolted before even 10k miles (cheap to mod) and i love every minute of it. pulls like a motherf@#ker and makes me want to go FI on the S haha. but i won't!
I prefer the sleeper look of my gen 1 more. And yes, they pull like no other.

Do you guys know if the new mazdaspeed is getting updated looks? I haven't seen any press releases for it yet...

Unfortunately, the only "news" about a new MS3 is a nerf'd version. MS3 with VW GTI performance. Aside from the nerf'd rumor, the other side of the news suggests that they're straight up killing it.

First gen MS3s are my fave; unless they make a new MS3 with the current design. That will probably look real classy. I think I remember reading months ago that they were even thinking about not turbocharging the next MS3. But again, all rumors.
