Yeah, that's an interesting element that I've thought about on nearly every trip out in the S2K - it's like everything is scaled down and concentrated. I can drive the S hard and stay within a reasonable/legal amount of speed in the city. The same intensity (for lack of better terms) with the Z06 would have put me _under_ the jail.

I had a friend that had an '03 Z, then an '06 - while he said the C6 platform was pretty amazing, he could never really experience the car on public roads. Even the lower-speed A/X stuff he runs wasn't fun anymore (keeping the car in 1st gear is a snooze-fest).

I think I said it in another thread, but last week we were up in St. Augustine (in the old city area), then over at the beaches area, and the car could have had 10X the HP but it wouldn't have made any difference.

My wife and I just bought this brand new 08' S in December with 29 miles on it. I've never been in a Z06 but drove my father's 50th Vette and my brothers S-charged cobra-saleen. I recently drove a 370Z to make sure our $29,995 was spent well... it was!!!

We aren't tire smokers, stop-light draggers, or track-stars. We just wanted a toy for the summer. I never thought the low torque or non-V8 would bring me all the FUN that I've had with this car. Honda just got this thing right! So much so, we've already started pinching penny's for the next Super honda to come. You know, the one... That or do something so amazing to our S that it will become the envy of all S owners.

There are so many cars I've never driven but I SO don't care! The bar has been raised high to top the feelings we get out of our S! If there's something better out there. I sure hope I don't find it. I can't even imagine enjoying a car more than this one.

Also, it might just be me... This car catches ton's of attention! I LOVE THIS CAR!
