Speaking of cars going to the chavs, I see a lot of old shape Golf R32s being driven by young Pakistanis now.

I would never say the TT is/was a bad car, I would say that the Z4 M was better from HP, handling, and looks perspective in my opinion that's all there is to think about when buying a car like that. I remember seeing my first TT -the old one- and thinking it was a gorgeous design but it totally screams hairdressers car.

That's exactly what it is, you cannot escape it. It's not bad, just a bit camp and I personally couldn't live with that and coming from a Nurby driver, that's saying a fair bit!

You are in Slough Ryn

Do you see any cars not being driven by (young) Pakistanis?

I didn't, when I was there the other day

Apart from Vixens's, Astage's and Dan Hale's

Pete

It was a dig at CC if he happened to be reading

Although what I meant was that there is no white people driving these cars now they can be obtained for <16k

Much the same as old M3s, Mitsubishi Evo 6 and AMG Mohammed Benz.

Although most Pakistanis seem to be steering clear of the BMW Mini and Audi TT as the perceived cost isn't high enough

I referred to the original TT in my first post, I owned one once (225 coupe)
so feel qualified to comment. Dare'nt mention the bloody MINI.

Russ.
What's wrong with the Mini? My Wife has the Mini Cooper and I love driving it. It handles beautifully and sounds great. It's one of the nicest sounding smaller engines out there. It still surprises me how much go it has. A drop from 5th to third and powering through and out of a bend is very enjoyable.
