The story 'by the owner' as posted on p.1 doesn't quite make sense...I'd imagine you'd need to be doing quite a fair speed to lift an A8 up like that.

...my guess is it was more like "blatted around a corner too fast for the sight-lines 'cause I was playing with the other Elise, saw a line of stationary traffic, panicked, braked, found myself pretending to be a hydraulic jack!"


...but he's lucky. It could have been the back-end of a van with one of those lifts on the back...

Doesn't take a lot of speed to wedge an Elise under another car. I've seen a couple now that happened at reversing speeds.
