Yep and alas those who want to hav a big bhp figure to tell their mates about won't go for the Evora. I expected it to be slow but it certainly shifts.

Had a good spirited drive in the company of some other lotuses to the Supercar Sunday at Goodwood yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the Evora - it is a very capable car regardless of HP figures, great fun and gives me great pleasure to drive. The few grumbles I have had (Sat nav, Air Con) do not detract for the driving experience which is what drew me to lotus in the first place.
I think a convertible with perhaps the added excitement of the supercharger could keep me happy for a few more miles.

to add to that, one thing I do really enjoy about the Evora is the "exclusivity"! perhaps they are just not popular but so far I have only seen one other on the road (...and that was in France). There was one at the Goodwood Supercar day - sponsored by a dealership but other than mine in the car park no others - but countless Fezzas, Astons, Porsches etc......

How odd; it looks terribly ill-proportioned (2+2 roof & LWB - just like the Mondial)in those photos.
I wonder if it's the red, the grey drizzle or the angle?
Like the Mondial, don't buy it in red! It looks fine in orange/mustard etc...

Didn't strike me as being a good looking car on the day but there were lots more on the track and I didn't specifically set out to photograph it. Chap just asked me what I had taken.
Oh yes it was drizzley day
