I saw one in black under streetlights a while back. It looked very good indeed.

CBs looked good in Blue too.

To my eyes the Evora is simply Plug-ugly.

Like the GTR, it's so much better in the flesh.

I saw one at Knockhill some time ago - it just didn't 'do it' for me.

But it would a boring existence if we all liked the same thing; it's great there's an alternative to the usual suspects.

I think the colour has a lot to do with it.

See one regularly around these parts and I have to say that the colour does it no favours whatsoever, it's a kind of beige/taupe affair.

This is a car that I really like and hope to have one in a year or two (I nearly bought one when I got the Elise), but in the colour I mention it was really rank.

One of the more detestable recent trends is the return of Jewish Racing Beige. Never a good look.

Fifth Gear feature was pretty rubbish

Nothing about the cars themselves, just a couple of laps. I didn't see many apexes being hit either!

Atom V8 was great though - "like bringing Ussain Bolt to a charity fun run"

The Evora v 911 'review' was pretty pants. They were happy to slag off some of the cheap switch gear, but mentioned nothing of the Evora's great ride quality and handling.

Anybody spot the s2000 during the hill climb piece ? I wonder if it was the fella from here who does the hill climbs. Is it Blue Monster ?

Very fast car, feels like a grown up Elise. Family member is a journo and had one for a weekend a few weeks back. He's got it again this weekend, so I'm sure we'll tear up some Somerset country roads.

As for the bad comments on interior switch gear etc I just don't see it, it's not all that bad. The navi system is awful, but it's some daft alpine unit or something.

The problem is the competition, it's such a great car but its very focused. To spend 60k on one you would really have to want it, most people would go the Porsche route (cayman s or entry 997).
