F1: Bahrain
Well Ferrari always go strong at those two races, and Oz is usually very good for Ferrari too. I just think its too early to say the red cars have the advantage, I believe we have yet to see which car is actually faster. I think it will be a close season, and with the added wild card of the BMW now it could turn out to be a shock season.
I do rate Hamilton though, he proved how good he was last season, if he can get the car to suit him and be consistent then the Maclaren has a good chance to win the constructor and driver championship, but it is still too early for predictions I feel

But if you want to put money on Hamilton to win the title
You might be taking it from me
I have laid him to lose
And make me a packet
Trust me, it's not wishful thinking when it comes to money with me
I'd love to see a Britisher win
But sentiment doesn't come into it
Beyond realising that a lot of people bet and talk with their heart not their head......
Now that's what I call an opportunity

huh?
Heikki Kovalainen set the fastest lap of the race with a time that was half-a-second better than the best of either Massa or Raikkonen.
Also, it has since transpired that there was an aero failure that caused Hamilton to accelerate into the back of the already woefully slow Renault.
I agree with Horza though, boring race indeed. I always prefer the European races myself.

The Ferrari has been on the 'pace' at every track. I think it will also get significantly stronger when we are back in Europe.
Absolutely no doubt in my mind that Ferrari and Raikonnen will win this year
The only thing Hamilton proved last year was that he was quick, in an already very quick car, with a setup given to him by Alonso.
I'll make my mind up about him fully at the end of this season.
heh heh I must admit, I would be nervous to take a bet on Hamilton winning the championship but that would be more to do with his inexperience than his skill or the cars speed, so I doubt I would be taking any money from anyone
PS I never bet on anything ever, so don't read too much into that
Mike half a second faster than either of them!

Let's not forget Raikonnen didn't win the championship until the last race! Hopefully this year will be similar with things undecided going into the last race.
I still rate Hamilton, and I hope he gets his head straight for the next race - there's a lot of competition this year! Raikonnen didn't get away from Kubica as comprehensively as I expected him too! Those Beemers are coming good!
It's still early days yet!
