I AM a driving god and I like both the S2K and the MINI if I'm honest. Guess that makes me a manly gay hairdresser? A friend of mine had a Cooper S for a while and if I remember rightly it was running around the same kind of power as an S2K and it went like shit off a stick, cracking car.

Chad.

Some silly comments here. Fwiw i can be doing with fast fwd cars, my golf GTD has enough trouble with traction.

The S can be edgy too, the mini isnt exactly macho but wgaf? Styling is all about opinions.

And compared to my golf my S is coarse

I like it tho

Glad to see a thread such as this has divided people's opinions....but that's what forum's are for I suppose isn't it.

I know I can fully expect a healthy amount of p*ss taking but as already said, WGAF!!

If I didn't want the banter, I wouldn't have bought a Mini.

but dont forget.

the mini will not suddenly improve your driving.

you might just find you can go faster to the point of impending doom.

I think with respect to the Mini, you won't ever walk away and look back with a grin once you've parked up.
I'd be looking around to ensure no-one has seen me, bit like if you had a 206cc. I suppose you have BMW to thank for making the thing look too cute. Its fell into the Letting Agent / Cabin Crew type car.
You can't deny its abilities on the road though, they handle and go extremely well.

My use of the phrase "impending doom" may have been excessive, on reflection.

Even a 4WS Prelude will fall off the road eventually, if you drive like a complete twat.

Admittedly, the S2000's warning phase it a tad narrow - especially without bracing.

Good going on the mini, chip it, get the exhaust and all will be well. Its a very capable little car!
