I don't have a problem with rear foglights, i put them on if its foggy and if i was to have an accident in my work van without them on i would get heavily criticised. If a car i front has its rear fog lights on i don't find they dazzle me or effect my eyes. That's even with me wearing glasses made out of the Hubble space telescopes second hand lenses. Front foglights are there for bling because all the cars i have owned the front foglights do nothing apart from give it that "rally car" look. Oh and front foglights also seem to give you some sort of exemption for having other light bulb failures.

What does really really piss me off is people driving in fog or even in heavy rain with no lights on. These people are the ones who should be taken off the roads because it shows no thought process. If they aren't thinking about the basics then what else are they missing.

 

totally agree here, just had a week of dorks and no lights...no realisation that they have their lights off when you wave and flash at them..
what else are they missing? a few, or lot?, brain cells I reckon.

back on fog lights, I have had two cars this week that have pulled out of side roads ahead of me, forcing me to brake ( and of course flash the lights)whilst bearing down on them in my van.
Better than that though, they both had FOG LIGHTS lit ! and neither of them accelerated enough to prevent me running right up their ar**s

So let me think, you have the fog lights on so you believe that it is dark enough to do so AND then you pull out in front of me at the last minute....because you "DIDN'T SEE YOU, MATE" ( motorcycle problem too..)
...Now I know why you have your fogs on....you can't f* ing see properly can you !!!
