The Formula 1 Thread - 2011
Haha! Didn't JB have one and he worked on the S2k chassis? Would be a question he wouldn't normally get asked!
It will be interesting to hear what Bruno has to say, he seems to be getting something out of that Renault that Heidfeld couldn't, although I wonder how long he will last if Kubica comes back soon!

Here's a sky view from the Swisshotel of the track.

News from Singapore...
So Practice 1 has been delayed due to the circuit not being safe yet, teams are worried they won't have enough track time and Renault need to do a routine gearbox change between FP1 and FP2 which they are running out of time to do if the track does not open soon.
1104:-FIA safety delegate Charlie Whiting is on the tarmac and inspecting the kerbs and a short time later a team jump out of the back of a truck and start to take up some of the red and white panels. I'm leaning towards an hour's delay at this rate.
1101: The damage is to turns 10, 14 and 15, with some oil from a support race and a loose drain cover causing the difficulties according to BBC Sport's pit-lane reporter Ted Kravitz. And there is some speculation swirling around that it may be actually an extra hour before we get underway.
1055: Scrap that. Breaking news from Singapore is that track repairs have put first practice back 30 minutes. 1130 BST.

I've only just seen this but apparently there's been a bit of controversy around why the Monza officials thought it would be a good idea to dangle it where everyone could snap pictures.
crappy video but if you knew what you were doing this would be an F1 spies wet dream.

Hi Jamie, I'm there again today (sat) for all the entertainments stuff, P3 then qualifying. I'm sat in the middle of turn 1 and 2, which is nice as I can see the pile up at the end of the start finish straight, and the pit exit.
Venue is amazing and the big screens and commentary are very good.
It's extremely hot though, and you just sweat from sitting there.
The noise is amazing. Some of the cars sound rough!
Senna was getting a lot of laps in yesterday, I hope he does well and gets a better car next year.
Buttons 'off' was uncharacteristic, and amusing to see him drive off on the back of a bike
Entertainment tonight is shakira, boy George and shaggy
Linkin Park on Sunday.
Hope it stays dry...
Pics from last night while still some daylight. I can see all the way round to the hairpin on the right.
