Typical Monaco bore fest unfortunately ... one thing I am glad about is Vettel not getting any higher, and I am happy that Webber won but not so happy that RBR got even more points. There is some conjecture about the floor that RBR car is running also, Ros Brawn and several other teams have made reference to it, and the FIA are looking into it ... could be interesting.
Bring on Canada ...

BBC have an article on the RBR floor http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/18226959 seems straightforward cheating to me but then I am biased.

All cars are scrutinised by the FIA before each race. This deems them legal.

Obviously RBR have 'a letter' stating that their floor is legal ... which suggests they have had to explain why they have a great whacking hole close to the rear wheels acting as a downforce mechanism and explained as an 'interpretation' of the rules by RBR. Now that their flexing front nose, and their blown diffuser has been taken away, it is plain to see that golden boy has lost his advantages, so they set about exploiting the regulations which all the other teams think is unfair, according to the regs the floor is supposed to be 'impervious' this is impossible by any stretch of the imagination, how can something be impervious with a great hole drilled in it?

So you are saying that Webber and Red Bull cheated to win in Monaco but it is ok because he won and beat Vettel?
No predjudices against successful teams and drivers then?
Webber, nice guy that he is , has not lived up to his early promise and will never be world champion.
I agree however that Monaco is boring but since when has F1 had anything to do with racing? Tactics have taken the place of racing in the modern era. Contrast this with your average club meeting, wheel to wheel with on track overtaking.

OT. The teams are sponsored to the tune of millions of dollars, the drivers earn millions of dollars between them,Bernie rakes off billions. And who makes this possible?
Thousands of unpaid marshalls.
Go figure.

No, the people who pay for the tickets to watch.

Without them there would be no F1. There will always be people willing to marshall. It's never been a paid role, why should it suddenly become such?

Back to topic - boring procession of a race, but tremendous to see the top 5 driving at that level constantly towards the end. Difficult to get "excited" about, though.

Which sport have you been watching? First race of the year that isn't full of wheel to wheel racing and overtaking, and F1 is dull and just about tactics. Monaco is never going to be different; the only way to change it is not go to Monaco.

I always enjoy watching Monaco. Okay so it's typically a procession, and tends to be a longer race, but the cars always look spectacular. And at least this year's was a close procession; top 7 covered by 7 seconds is as close as F1 gets.

I think you'll find the ticket money is a very small proportion of F1's income. Far more comes from the TV rights.

That has to have been one of the most boring grand prixs i've ever watched. I was watching it an hour delayed and so was fast forwarding when there was nothing of any interest going on.

There was so little going on i caught up with the live race before it had even finished.

You do not see the irony of a multi million pound industry relying on free marshalls then? Smacks of taking advantage to me.
Without them there would be no racing for folk to buy tickets for. I can understand volunteer marshalls for club racing, indeed in the past I was one such.
But , hey ho, I guess that Bernie sees them right and compensates them in gratitude.

You are right though, if people want to donate their time to make F1 and Bernie richer..............

But Bernie wouldn't pay them, the circuit responsible would pay them. So then it comes down to a decision of - do you want to have a grand prix in your country or not?

And I bet the marshalls love doing it for F1.

Monaco is always boring unless it rains. I always thing they should reduce it to a 90 minute race rather than 2 hours, then it wouldn't be so bad.

OK, I take your point about wheel to wheel racing sometimes. But how many overtakes can you remember that were not a.Made during pit stops
or b.made using DRS.
I still maintain that in the past, when the power exceeded the ability of the chassis, we had closer and better racing without the need for artificial exitement intensifiers
