McLaren were well off the pace through the middle of last year, and were able to bounce back.

Good race. I suppose any race where Red Bull dominate qualifying, and then go backwards is a good race. Mercedes were ultimately a bit disapointing too, but Lotus and Ferrari obviously have some race pace, and how good was Sutil? I wonder if they could have kept in on the medium tyres until the the last lap and still held on to 5th.

He had a blinding drive. Got to have put him on some bigger teams radar. Plus there's comfort in the fact he can handle himself in a bar fight.

I think in cold and wet conditions those Mercs will shine. I can see them taking Malaysia if it's wet and China if it's cold.

Need to have several races up at knockhill and they'll get both, in fact there may even be snow too.

A good race, but bloody Webber cursed by poor starts and no KERS for 20 laps! Kimi is pretty special and Lotus have pulled a blinder getting hold of him.

Hmmm when i think back to it, that was a pretty dull race tbh.

I do think the RBR is the fastest, and probably the best car out there .. and that is worrying ... maybe Ferrari are fast enough, and perhaps the lotus is really as fast as it appears .. I just hope so!

Not at all surprised to see Raikkonen topping time sheets this week given the cars will be near identical to last time. I fully expect another win from him. Don't see him on pole though, as we saw last week being on pole is useless if it has killed your tyres

McLaren will learn not to chase qualifying this time, their car is slow and wrecking the tyres you start on is a fools errand.

Sepang can be an odd race though as we all know, it can rain there any time and when it does well ... it's often a lottery.

Massa looked very pleased with himslef and rightly so. Hopefully it's all part of the slow progress back to form.

I think Vettel's been clever by keeping more fresh tyres for the race. Though if it rains that won't count. Sutil was very impressive again, and I wonder if Hamilton could have been on the front row if he'd changed tyres like Vettel and the Ferraris.
