Seems a shame that when you have a blank canvas and a lot of money, you can make a circuit so badly arranged for any sort of action.

It was never going to be a great track, probably designed by Scalextric, or worse still a peoples collective.

He obviously had the run, he just misjudged the braking. If he'd braked slightly earlier we'd all be saying what a good move it was. And getting through the field was in a large part because everybody else had to make a pit stop.

Pretty dull race. I thought the track wasn't bad though; great tracks often produce dull races, and in the last few years Valencia, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain all produced great races - perhaps the track isn't the reason.

Rosberg would have been stuffed if he couldn't have effectively run the whole race without a tyre stop. Now they have data Pirelli will tweak their choices for next year I'm sure.

We should get whoever laid the surface of that circuit to come to England and repair the roads.

What a boring race/track.

Admittedly I did nod off between about lap 5 and 31.

Seems to have been designed so that fuel savings are critical to finishing the race.

I'd not realised that Putin was so short, until he appeared next to the poison dwarf.

even Putin and the FIA dignitaries didn't turn up until the last few laps so I think they are in agreement

Boring race, a lot i suspect to do with the lack of tyre wear.

Rosberg should never have been able to drive for that long on single set of tyres.

Shows how much of an effect the high tyre degradation normally has on the outcome of the race.

Rosberg has well and truly cracked mentally in my opinion. He might have put in faster laps in the race but Hamilton was not under pressure so we won't know how fast he could have gone if he'd wanted.

Nice to seen Button up in 4th. He's certainly fighting hard for his seat next year!

Rosberg has a habit of outbraking himself.

From what they were saying on the coverage, most of the teams thought that likelihood of a safety car (both because of narrow circuit and because of Jules' accident) was very high, so the fuel calculations were done on that basis.
