Why does Lewis Hamilton insist on 'teaching' Rosberg how to beat him? why doesn't he sandbag in his practice sessions, it seems folly to me that he shows Rosberg with his data how to get faster ... the guy is a a great driver but I don't think he has a great strategy .... nonetheless looks like a good race weekend ahead at the Austrian GP.
Today was incredibly disappointing. What's going on with the pitstops for Hamilton at the minute?! 1.9 seconds they cost him and probably more when you factor in he got stuck behind Bottas after the first slow one.
You can't say that would have been enough to have definitely give him the win, but it would have been more of a fight for sure.
Fairly dull race that one.
Shame Massa couldn't get on the podium.
At least Kravitz got Toto to say 'I'll be back' which I thought may have pleased Dembo, although not as good as 'get to the choppaaaaah'

I thought it was quite exciting for a while, but then inevitably the race settled down. Williams obviously targeted third and fourth and didn't worry too much about trying to beat Mercedes, which is still a great result for them. I didn't quite understand how Massa pitted first and yet lost out to Bottas.
I don't think Hamilton was ever going to get past Rosberg. The only time he got close was on that last lap where Rosberg locked up, but then Hamilton had a wobble too. So better pitstops and catching him up sooner wouldn't have made a difference.

Hamilton himself summed it up perfectly in that he came second because of his qualifying mess up rather than time lost in the pit stops. Had he put in a good qualifying lap, he'd have won the race, especially with a great start like that.
Edit - was Soulcrew.
It's clear the Mercedes are so closely matched in terms of performance that overtaking each other is nearly impossible unless one driver makes a mistake.I do think Lewis would have won had he not screwed up qualifying.
I had forgotten just how amazing that part of Austria was. The fantastic view, and change in elevation make this the perfect setting for any race. Just a shame that the racing wasn't as good as the view. Also renaming race tracks is just plain wrong imo. It will always be the A1 Ring to me.
