Lets hope that Nico has the capability to get up there then and put on a decent challenge. although I expect the decision to let them race will only apply until they trip over each other, as we saw last year.
did I hear the ridiculous double points was not happening this year or did I just dream that

Toto Wolff has openly stated he will let the two guys at the front race.

No double points. Thank God! Kudos for trying something new. Kudos for realizing it was stupid.
I have watched every practice session, every qualifying, and every race for the last 5 seasons. This is my 6th. I'm super excited about this season for some reason and I let myself get really pumped up for it. So when the race didn't reach my level of excitement I deemed it as boring. Just the racing part though. I enjoyed everything else. Even the Governator! I thought he did a much better job than some of the other commentators.

I was really surprised by the language that Nico used throughout the weekend.
He constantly kept referring to Hamilton as World Champion and having put in a "World Champion's" performance in both qualifying and in the race.
I don't know about you, but to my ears it's almost as if he is resigned to getting a pasting this year already.
