McLaren Honda are going to be setting records this year mark my word.

Records for most unfulfilled grid penalties. Can anyone remember what happens to all the grid penalties that can't be enforced?

Hamilton could have run Caterham for a year if he sold his post race interview 'bling' to cash4gold.

damn, that was sick. (or whatever that means)

You mean the gold wanker chain?

That just made him look like a knob.

No he won't, not after being called short by Hamilton who isn't exactly tall himself.

Have to agree! He really has lost the plot as far as dress sense is concerned.

You can tell it was a dull race, when most people are talking about Lewis' Argos gold necklace

I love this thread. every year the same comments about how boring it all was and every year the same people still watching it.

anyway, IMHO it was an OK opener for the season. Its going to take a while for everyone to get into a groove and they'll it'll become a bit more easy to predict who's the "best of the rest" this year. at least Merc seem to have resolved last years reliability problems. Lets hope Mercedes spice things up at the front a bit by allowing some racing, if only to get some TV coverage !

I think Verstappen has done a pretty good job of silencing his critics. One to watch for the future I'm sure.

You're saying that a faithful follower of F1 should expect exciting racing every single race? Boring racing is going to happen. It isn't our fault.

Toto Wolff has openly stated he will let the two guys at the front race.
