The Formula 1 Thread - 2015
Well. The McLaren did finish the race, which is way more than I would've thought.
Given JB's praise of the car's driveability and mechanical grip, maybe they can bring the fight to Manor and Force India if it rains in Malaysia.

I suspect the McLaren will have similar race pace as Manor once they're both running, several seconds off the leading duo.
That is if Manor can actually produce a running car, as you point out.

Looks like ole Bern dog isn't too happy.

Of course Red Bull were making the same argument during all the years that they were dominating
a case of toys out the pram I suspect.
maybe if Bernie was a bit fairer divvying up the proceeds of all our (very expensive) ticket sales then Manor would have had the resources to put a car on the track.
Is it me or has the off track politics kicked off early this season.

the problem is that it's the engine rather than RBR that is in theory the problem. I know RBR are exacerbating their own issues with supremely tight packaging which causes heat issues and therefore early failures. but at the end of the day, the renault power plant is pretty poor. Ferrari have really upped their engine game, Merc have improved, and Honda have a good base to work from if they can sort out their ERS issues. We will see if I'm on the money when they come to some cooler european races. I suspect in Malaysia RBR will be even further off the pace and McLaren will struggle even more due to the heat.
