The Formula 1 Thread - 2015
Most boring race for years in my book, the circuit doesn't help, perhaps when Red Bull pull the plug on F1, they will also pull the plug on this circuit and it'll be off the calendar.
The highlights programme could have been 2 minutes long, rather than the 1.5 hour.
Highlight for me was Maldonado showing he has skill as a race driver, but not the head for it... his 'save' whilst trying to get past Verstappen was mighty impressive in real time, especially when you saw the onboard, but as DC said he's "never seen anything quite like it"...
he seems to make lots of poor decisions, which often go bad.

More so than Canada?
Fairly typical race really. The surprise was that Hamilton was just plain slower than Rosberg, but Massa vs Vettel got quite exciting at the end and there was some good racing mid field (and an exciting if scary accident).

The drastic change we need is for everyone to stop talking down the sport. There was never this much moaning even when it was boring; i.e. when Vettel was winning lights to flag all the time, or through all the Schumacher years. At least now there's a battle between the team mates, even if it is always one team that comes 1-2.

#VeryBoring
F1 is really dull at the moment ... imo we (the fans and the sport) need some drastic changes.

It's been much worse in the past, and the fact a British driver is winning is OK with me.
