Whichever wag said that McLaren Honda would be leading the way with engine penalties was probably right.

 

Apparently McLaren "elected" to maximise their penalties in Austria as the circuit doesn't suit their car anyway. Nobody yet knows which circuits actually do suit the McLaren, and they're certainly not about to tell us. My guess is any circuit which doesn't require the car to actually move, but even then they'd probably break down.

 

alonso has so many penalties, he is starting from 5th on the grid in spain.

i saw a very annoying ad for esso...in which brundle says you get the mclaren honda experiance...but the car didnt suddenly break down !!!!.
