Lotus Evora
I think they will copy the Exige designation and have Evora and Evora S, or the Elise designation with SC.
My dealer chappie was fairly certain they would be supercharging one.
He also said they may be keen on making an Exige production GT3 type version and has been asked to canvas opinion from Exige owners

I think they are on to a winner, unlike the Europa mess they rushed out to use up all the VX220 bits.
I agree with Bada; it looks a zillion times better than the hideous Cayman and you can wear a flat cap in it without worrying about your gelled-up hair.
I can feel the extra delicacy in the controls from here already...

Seriously, have you driven a Cayman?
Cayman - driven and was dull as dishwater. No real fun at any point until eway beyond a speed limit. I did a write up ages ago but each to their own.
MB your dealer chappie is a little behinds some of the other dealers (B+C to be precise) with his info. A lot of what you are sharing was news to those guys a couple of months ago.
As for the GT3 Exige pictured
Bell & Colvill have been taking "potential" orders for a long while now just in case the Hethel boys make production ones rather than the one off, which does look awesome in the flesh.

I've never heard the Cayman described in such disparaging terms before

That's not why the Europa happened.

It's a very nice car but it's very refined and you really have to be going at license losing speeds to really have any fun in it.
Yes, the steering and handling are good, and the engine makes an ok noise (I'm not a fan of boxer engines - too Beetley for me) but it just lacks the "fun factor".
I'm sure it's great on a track and the refinement is great for use as an every day car, but there was no sense of occasion. See the NSX thread for more of a write-up.
