Dave - I've been down to "The Wheel Specialists"" this morning as I badly kerbed a wheel this morning. They were recommended to me by the son of the owner of Event Mobile tyres a few months ago. www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk

I liked their setup and although I haven't used them yet, first impressions of their setup and customer service were good. They are based in Manchester not far from Man City's ground.

I would pay them a visit. They showed me some of them Range Rover special wheels (can't remember the name of them) and they looked extremely good. They also have some of my wheels on display.

Are they local to you, Wayne?

I've managed to mangle 3 of the 4 wheels on the ST Low profile tyres with no rim protection, coupled with ham-fisted parking and a work car park that is too tight for the oil-tanker-esque ST steering rack, has made a right mess of the front wheels especially. I could do with somewhere in the Stoke area...

I've answered my own question by the simple expedient of not being a lazy arse and googling their location for myself

Just down the road from where I work, so quite handy if I could drop the car off and persuade them to give me a lift to office

National Alloys in Widnes seem to get good reviews on Pistonheads

http://www.nationalalloys.co.uk/

Seem to be well priced as well

I used topmarques twice but had a few runs both times.
