Horses for courses.

To me, the fact that the car doesn't scream 'LOOK AT ME!!' like a 'red' car, for example, is part if the appeal. And as you rightly say, people who know their cars, at least respect the NSX.

I was driving home the other evening along the M23, cruising along at a sensible-ish speed.

A guy on a sports bike came past at speed, slowed down, let me past again, then slowly overtook me again, once alongside, he matched my speed, looked over and gave me a big 'thumbs-up'.

How often would that happen if you were driving a 911?
Absolutely, fantastic cars I won't dispute that

I hope you get there one day Neil - it wook me at least 2 years from the point I decided that was what I wanted.

As and when, if I can be of any help or assistance, don't hestitate to shout.

Thanks Ian, I'll be in touch.

If I could find a dealer that would partx one for

I've contacted Chiswick and am trying to arrange a test drive. However, the car they have is one they are selling on the owner's behalf.

I've been honest enough to say that I won't be buying that paticular example ('04 for

Only be a little punt up the road.

TBH, the car will deteriorate MORE if it's left rotting under that tree, so I can't see why not.

I test drove a lovely black one in Weybridge a few years ago. If I'd had the money I would have given it to them then and there.

You, Ian and Nick.

I must stay away from "man maths" though

Mildly amusing telephone conversation with sales rep, who, at 22, is too young to take me on a test drive. His manager will have to do it in his stead!

Maybe I should give Hatfield Porsche a call and arrange a Gayman S drive too?
