Launched at the Tokyo Auto salon last year, Mugen's NSX RR concept.

I prefer your NSX over the Civic Chris

Chris.
That is lovely. The NSX-R spoiler does make a big difference as well.

Why did you sell it out of interest? And how does the performance compare to a supercharged S?

Because it was a dreadful colour.

I agree. Turning a luxury GT car into a Carlos Fandango job completely misses the point of the NSX!

This one belongs to a bloke that goes to my gym, still looks but very dated IMO, probably because it is an early one, the later ones look so much fresher!!

That's true.

The classic NSX jet-fighter paint job really ages the car. As does the ruched leather.

Paint it monochrome and the car gains elegance, almost like a series-3 XJ does over a series 2.

The bubble headlight facelift wasn't quite as pretty, but it was one of the most successful facelifts ever. Especially since it added 5mph to the top speed!

It does indeed look OTT...like most Le Mans GT cars

Having said that, the NSX only retired from the JGTC championship for this year due to a change in the regs.

Now they've replaced it with the HSV built from the remains of the NSX successor.

You don't and wont ever see any plastic Vauxhall bath tubs standing the test of time like the NSX.
